SEE WITH THE EYES OF GOD

1st John 4:17 ''Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.''

When God created man, He made man in His own image and likeness (Genesis 1). What He meant was for man to look like Him and function like Him. And to do that, man ought to live from his Spirit (his real self). But unfortunately, man fell and began to function from the realm of the senses (the five senses). Man's reality was now subjected to what his physical eyes could see, his ears could hear, and other senses could dictate.

God in His infinite mercy sent Jesus Christ to redeem the ''failed man'' back to the master plan. That's why the book of Ephesians 2:10 says; ''For we are God's [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew]....''

Man had to be recreated in Christ in order for him to live out the master plan, which was, to look like and function like God.

Our topic, See With The Eyes Of God, does not literally mean seeing with God's physical eyes, No. It means to live and function like God and one way by which God functions is by faith. The whole creation was done by God's faith. Hebrews 11:3 sheds more light on this:

''By faith we understand that the worlds [during the successive ages] were framed (fashioned, put in order, and equipped for their intended purpose) by the word of God, so that what we see was not made out of things which are visible.''

God sees everything with the eyes of faith, He sees His likeness and image in us. He sees in us, the potential and ability which the world cannot see. That was why He saw a man (Moses) whom the people of the world saw as a stammerer (speech impediment) and said: I'll send you on a great expedition to deliver my people from slavery (Exodus 3).

God saw a man (Gideon) who was afraid, trying to hide and prepare his wheat; and called him, ''you mighty man of (fearless) courage.'' (Judges 6:11-12).

God saw a man (Abraham) whom the world called ''a childless man'' and said: ''I have made you a father of many nations.'' (Genesis 17).  Hallelujah!

Our opening scripture says, ''...as He is, so are we in this world.'' God expects us to live and function like Him, here on earth. If this were not possible, God wouldn't have revealed this to us by John through the Holy Spirit. God expects you to talk and act like Him.

When you look at your life, do you define yourself by what you physically see, the things you have or don't have?

When you look at people, do you define them by their physical attributes? Or do you see with the eyes of faith, the vast resources of potential that's inbuilt in them by God?

When you behold difficulties or circumstances of life, do you consider how complicated or hopeless the situation seems, and therefore give up or give in? Or do you exercise your faith and decide to triumph victoriously?

If your life is going to be victorious and successful, then you must learn to see with the eyes of God: you must learn to exercise your faith in all things. Even as I write this, I see with the eyes of my faith, this teaching, tremendously touching and changing your life for the glory of God. Hallelujah!

Therefore, speak life to that lifeless situation, speak healing to that sick body, peace and prosperity to that wretched circumstance. Never say what you see physically, but rather, say what you want to see. And when you say it, see it coming to pass, see it becoming a reality, and God will cause it happen according to your faith. Glory to God!

YOU & I ARE AMBASSADORS OF CHRIST.

2nd Corinthians 5:20 ''So we are Christ's ambassadors, God making His appeal as it were through us.''

An Ambassador can be defined as a diplomatic official of the highest rank, sent by one sovereign or state to another as its resident representative.

Another definition renders it as; an authorized messenger or representative.

Apostle Paul, in our opening scripture was exposing to us deep truths of who we really are, here on earth: ''...we are Christ ambassadors, God making His appeal as it were through us.'' Observe the tenses, its already happened, its not going to happen or is it a promise. No! ''We are Christ ambassadors....''

Now observe critically, our definitions of an ambassador; a diplomatic official of the highest rank, an authorized messenger or representative. What does this bring to mind? Jesus Christ has made us his representatives here on earth. Hallelujah!

This means that you and I are diplomatic officials of the highest rank, sent by Jesus Christ here on earth, in order to represent him. Jesus Christ couldn't have done this if we weren't capable of the job. He carefully chose you and I, and equipped us to be his authorized representatives in this troubled world. This is mind blowing. No wonder the bible teaches in 1st John 4:17: ''...because as He is, so are we in this world.''

Having acknowledged this truth now, the question becomes, As an ambassador of Jesus Christ, have you assumed office? Are you really living as a representative of Christ, here on earth?

I have, and that's why by God's divine grace, I'm using this medium to do my work as an authorized representative. What about you?

If you're living according to God's word and being led by the Holy Spirit, then you are really exercising your heavenly legal right, as Christ ambassadors here on earth.

I challenge you today to live as an Ambassador of Christ, here on earth. Remember our opening scripture, He has already appointed and commissioned you. So its up to you to begin.

If you're not sure on how to start living as an Ambassador of Christ, I'll show you how. You do that by God's word (the Bible). God's word will enlighten you, instruct you, teach you, show you who you really are, and how to live triumphantly as Christ Ambassador, here on earth.

Now that you know, what are you going to do? I believe you'll make the right choice. Get to God's word and study, meditate and do according to what it says, then you are sure to live as Ambassadors of Christ. Hallelujah!

God bless you!

SELF-SUFFICIENT IN GOD'S SUFFICIENCY.

Philipians 4:13 Amp. ''I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ's sufficiency].''

Our opening scripture was written by Apostle Paul to the Philippians. The King James version renders it: ''I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me'' (Philippians 4:13 KJV.) Apostle Paul had a revelation knowledge of God. He had so much experienced the eternal power of God at work in his life, no wonder he had the audacity to say these words.

The Amplified bible expansiates on this subject: ''I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me.'' He was trying to communicate here that he had no impossibilities in his life anymore. Why? In all his endeavour, Christ infuses him with power. This power not only strengthens him for any task but also makes him successful in executing the task. He was self-sufficient in Christ's Sufficiency.

Think about it, think on how glorious his life was with this consciousness; knowing that God was always there, infusing him with strength, thereby making him victorious all the time. This takes the stress out of life.

Apostle Paul went further to explain God's sufficiency in 2nd Corinthians 12: 9 -10 Amp:

But He said to me, My grace (My favor and loving-kindness and mercy) is enough for you [sufficient against any danger and enables you to bear the trouble manfully]; for My strength and power are made perfect (fulfilled and completed) and [b]show themselves most effective in [your] weakness. Therefore, I will all the more gladly glory in my weaknesses and infirmities, that the strength and power of Christ (the Messiah) may rest (yes, may [c]pitch a tent over and dwell) upon me!
So for the sake of Christ, I am well pleased and take pleasure in infirmities, insults, hardships, persecutions, perplexities and distresses; for when I am weak [[d]in human strength], then am I [truly] strong (able, powerful [e]in divine strength).

Hallelujah! Can this get any better? God's grace, strength and power in its infiniteness, is ever available to him anytime, any day. When he was weak, God's divine power takes over; he was plugged into God's divine energy. No wonder his life was an endless stream of the miraculous. Having this consciousness, how can one ever be sick? How can one ever fail in life? Failure in life is now a choice. Glory to God!

You too can experience this divine grace, strength and power in all endeavours of your life, just as Apostle Paul did. All you need do is accept these truth in your life and walk in the light of it. The book of James 1: 22-25 Amp:

But be doers of the Word [obey the message], and not merely listeners to it, betraying yourselves [into deception by reasoning contrary to the Truth]. For if anyone only listens to the Word without obeying it and being a doer of it, he is like a man who looks carefully at his [own] natural face in a mirror; For he thoughtfully observes himself, and then goes off and promptly forgets what he was like. But he who looks carefully into the faultless law, the [law] of liberty, and is faithful to it and perseveres in looking into it, being not a heedless listener who forgets but an active doer [who obeys], he shall be blessed in his doing (his life of obedience).

You must believe you are self-sufficient in God's sufficiency, meditate on it, confess it everyday of your life and walk in the consciousness of it; then watch your life glide effortlessly and successfully always.

God bless you!
