GOD'S WORD WILL MAKE YOU CLEAN

John 15:3 Amp ''You are cleansed and pruned already, because of the word which I have given you [the teachings I have discussed with you].''

The word of God in you is an agent of change. As you listen to God's word, you literally 'feel' a transformation deep down inside you. You feel uplifted in your heart when you hear God's word.

If you have guilt of sin in you, God's word is able to cleanse you. Just open up your heart and study/listen to the word. Our opening scripture, Jesus said to His disciples: ''You are cleansed and pruned already, because of the word which I have given you [the teachings I have discussed with you].'' This means that the word of God has the capability to get rid of every sin in you.

Often times, when we realize that we've sinned against God or wronged someone, we tend to shy away from God and His word. Our mind judges us and tries to put us down. Instead of going back to God, we allow negative thoughts to condemn us. No! A thousand times No. The best thing to do whenever you sin, is to run back to God. Never allow guilt of sin ruin your life.

As a Christian, you ought to be conscious of the righteousness of God in you, and not being sin conscious. Sin consciousness makes you sin always, thereby making you to keep asking God for forgiveness all the time.  The bible says:

 1 John 1:7 KJV ''But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.''

What does it mean to work in the light? David said ''Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.'' (Psalms 119:105).

Therefore, God's word is a light unto our path, and if we walk in that light, as He is in that light, the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin. This is so important because this world in which we live in, is so full of sin; and often times we may err or commit a sin without even knowing. So we don't have to always keep scanning/checking our lives to know if we sinned against someone or God; all we have to do is to keep walking in the light of God's word and the blood of Jesus Christ automatically cleanses us from all sin. Hallelujah!

Make up your mind to study and walk in the light of God's word everyday of your life. It will make you clean and give you many more benefits and blessings in Christ Jesus. Glory to God! God bless you.
