GOD WANTS US TO WIN IN EVERY SITUATION

In our Christian life, it is important to know that God's will for us is to win or be victorious in every situation, regardless of how critical or hopeless it may seem. When we take account of the life of Jesus Christ on earth, we discover that He was a master over all circumstances. Jesus Christ was never confused at any point in His life, He had all solutions in Him:

- While He was asleep in the boat with His disciples, there arose a storm, and He calmed the storm.
- At the wedding in Canaan, there arose a shortage of wine, He solved the problem.
- When He walked into Peter's home and beheld Peter's mother in-law sick, He healed her.
- When He needed to pay tax, He provided a means to obtain the money.
- The Bible recorded in Matthew 8:16,  ''When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick:''

How remarkable and awesome the life of Jesus Christ was while He walked the earth.
Someone may say ''that's the life of Jesus, what does it have to do with me?'' Before we do justice to this question, it is important to know what made Jesus Christ's life on earth so awesome and glorious.

In Luke 4:18, Jesus read: ''The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised....''

Furthermore, In John 14:10, Jesus said ''...the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.''

He was taking about the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit made Jesus Christ a master over all circumstances. And when He (Jesus) was almost done on earth, He said ''And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;'' John 14:16. Glory to God, the Holy Spirit is here today.

When you become a Christian, you have the Holy Spirit dwelling in you. He is a sure guide for living a victorious life in Christ, anyday, anytime, anywhere. The people of the world have been inundated with life being full of 'ups and downs', 'you win a few, you lose a few.' No! A thousand times No. The Bible teaches in Acts 1:8 ''But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you....'' Power in the above scripture refers to 'dynamic ability to effect changes'.

So no matter whatever situation you find yourself, you have dynamic ability to effect changes. Never forget it. Refuse to conform to the world's pattern of doing things. You effect the changes you want to see in your life.
In John 4:4, ''...as He (Jesus) is, so are we in this world.'' You are God's representative on earth, therefore imitate the life of your master Jesus Christ. Be a master over all circumstances.

Our Lord Jesus said ''Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.'' John 14:12. How remarkable is this.

The Holy Spirit of God has come to make us live the transcendent life in Christ here on earth.  Jesus describes Him as ''...the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will cause you to recall (will remind you of, bring to your remembrance) everything I have told you.'' John 14:26.

Learn to take full advantage of His presence in you. God bless you.
