As a Christian, it is important you live-out God's standard for your life; in the Word. The Word of God is your life, and every day presents opportunities for you to live-out the Word; to keep the faith and maintain your confession of who you really are in Christ Jesus.
Our opening scripture says ''For whatever is born of God is victorious over the world; and this is the victory that conquers the world, even our faith.'' You were born of God when you first came to Christ (1st Peter 1:23), and faith was imparted to your spirit (Romans 12:3). Therefore, you ought to live by faith for you to be victorious everyday of your life. Live from the mountain top everyday.
When you are on top of a mountain, everything beneath you tends to look very small. That's the mentality you ought to function with. Perceive every circumstance of life, difficulty, needs, from the mountain top as very small. By so doing, nothing that comes your way can overwhelm you, because you see them as very small and therefore surmountable, with your faith.
The bible says in Phillipians 4:6 Amp '' Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition ([b]definite requests), with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God.'' Halleluyah!
This is God's will for us. He never wants us worried, panicking, stressed out about anything. How remarkable is this! God wants us to live from the mountain top everyday of our lives, regardless of whatever the situation may be, regardless of however hopeless the situation may seem. In every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and thanksgiving, make definite requests to God.
The world in which we live is filled with obstacles and difficulties, but we are the ones to make a choice whether to be victims or victors. It doesn't matter what happens to you, make up your mind today to be a victor everyday and not sometimes. Live from the mountain top everyday of your life, be a master over all circumstances, and you do that with your faith.
Read aloud and believe the opening scripture to yourself everyday. "For whatever is born of God is victorious over the world; and this is the victory that conquers the world, even our faith.'' (1st John 5:4). Then go into your world and affirm it and see yourself being a total success in all your endeavours of life.
