THE WORLD WAS WILLED TO YOU.

Romans 4:13 KJV ''For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.''

As a Christian, it is important to know that God willed the whole world to you. This may be your first time of hearing this or you may have heard of it, but it has not dawned on your spirit. The whole earth was willed to you. This is no religious cliché, No! A thousand times No. This is a fact, a reality, a truth. Our opening scripture;

Romans 4:13 KJV ''For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.''

The Amplified version puts it better;

Romans 4:13 Amp ''For the promise to Abraham or his posterity, that he should inherit the world, did not come through [observing the commands of] the Law but through the righteousness of faith.''

Our heavenly Father gave the whole world to Abraham and his seed. So how do we (Christians) come into the scene? Notice the King James rendering talks of Abraham and his seed. Who was this seed the bible was referring to? The book of Galatians 3:16 sheds more light on this.

Galatians 3:16 Amp ''Now the promises (covenants, agreements) were decreed and made to Abraham and his Seed (his Offspring, his Heir). He [God] does not say, And to seeds (descendants, heirs), as if referring to many persons, but, And to your Seed (your Descendant, your Heir), obviously referring to one individual, Who is [none other than] Christ (the Messiah).''

Therefore when God willed the world to Abraham and his seed, He meant Abraham and Jesus Christ.  Now, here is where you and I (Christians) come in:

Galatians 3:29 Amp ''And if you belong to Christ [are in Him Who is Abraham's Seed], then you are Abraham's offspring and [spiritual] heirs according to promise.''

Glory to God! How remarkable! God willed the world to Abraham and Jesus Christ, and since I belong to Christ, I automatically become an heir to the promise.

We are joint-heirs with Christ, not co-heirs (Romans 8:17). There's a big difference between the two. Imagine two people owning a joint account. No matter how much they deposit into the account, the money belongs to them one hundred percent, not fifty percent each. Therefore, the world belongs to Jesus Christ and to you. You've got to reckon it to be so. Regardless of whatever challenge or difficulty you may be encountering, I bring to you a truth; The world and its fullness thereof was willed to you. Hallelujah!

The question now is, now that we've come to recognize that the world belongs to us, how then do we begin to enjoy the full benefits as heir/inheritors of the promise? In subsequent topics to come, we'll do justice to that question. But until then, say it aloud everyday, believe it, reckon it to be so, the world was willed to you. God bless you.
